Jesus is the Wise Man

Advent is a time to prepare for Christ’s coming. There are many gospels that talks about how we must be ready to welcome Jesus into our hearts. There is one gospel that particularly sticks out to me. Jesus says,”…I will liken unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, & the floods came, & the winds blew, & beat upon that house; and it fell not:for it was founded upon a rock…” (Matthew 7:21-29)¬† ¬†This language is figurative in the sense that the rock is meant to stand for God. Spiritual Exercises

Mind your own business is something that ought to cross my mind more. How often do we get caught up in gossip and compare ourselves to others? More than we would probably like. Hosanna

First of all, happy Easter season! Truly we should be overjoyed. My priest exclaimed we are the only religion that has the leader(founder) alive still. I can testify to this. Not only because Jesus is alive in the Eucharist but also in spirit of people. His spirit is with us and will continue to be. In addition, I have travel to the Holy Land. At the Church of the Holy Sepulchre there are the religious guarding this holy site. I got to visit Jesus’ tomb and it certainly was empty. Many people kissed it. It was a moment I will never forget. Jesus has been very personal to me. Not […]
